नासिक के विश्वास मांडलिक एवं मुंबई के योग संस्थान को प्रधानमंत्री पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया:

• योग के प्रोत्साहन और विकास में असाधारण योगदान के लिए नासिक के विश्वास मांडलिक और मुंबई के योग संस्थान को इस वर्ष के ‘प्रधानमंत्री योग पुरस्कार’ के लिए चुना गया है।
• 21 जून 2016 को चंडीगढ़ में आयोजित दूसरे अंतरराष्‍ट्रीय योग दिवस के अवसर पर प्रधानमंत्री ने योग के प्रोत्‍साहन और विकास के लिए पुरस्‍कार गठित करने की घोषणा की थी। आयुष मंत्रालय ने पुरस्‍कारों के लिए दिशा निर्देशों को विकसित किया।
• पुरस्‍कार विजेताओं को एक ट्रॉफी, प्रमाण पत्र तथा नकद पुरस्‍कार से सम्‍मानित किया जाएगा। नकद पुरस्‍कार राशि 25 लाख रूपये की होगी।

विश्व का पहला अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मानवतावादी फोरेंसिक केंद्र गुजरात में लांच हुआ:

• 20 जून 2018 को विश्व का पहला अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मानवतावादी फोरेंसिक केंद्र गुजरात के गांधीनगर में शुरू हुआ है। यह भारत, भूटान, नेपाल और मालदीव और गुजरात फॉरेंसिक साइंस यूनिवर्सिटी में रेड क्रॉस की अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समिति के क्षेत्रीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल का संयुक्त उद्यम है।
• इसका उद्देश्य आवश्यकता पड़ने पर देश और दुनिया की सेवा करना है। इसके लांच होने के बाद मानवतावादी फोरेंसिक पर एक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया।

भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक ने प्राथमिकता वाले क्षेत्र में गृह ऋण की अधिकतम सीमा बढ़ाई:

• भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक ने सस्ते आवास को प्रोत्साहन देने के लिए 45 लाख रुपये से कम कीमत वाले मकानों के लिये 35 लाख रुपये तक के ऋण को प्राथमिकता वाले क्षेत्र के ऋण की श्रेणी में शामिल करने का फैसला किया है।
• प्राथमिकता क्षेत्र के कर्ज बाजार में प्रचलित दरों के मुकाबले थोड़े सस्ते होते हैं। बैंकों से ये कर्ज मिलना भी आसान होता है।
• महानगरों में 35 लाख और अन्य शहरों व कस्बों में 25 लाख रुपये तक के कर्ज प्राथमिकता क्षेत्र में माने जाएंगे। ये कर्ज प्राथमिकता क्षेत्र में तभी आएंगे जब मकान की कुल कीमत भी तय सीमा से कम हो। महानगरों के लिए यह सीमा 45 लाख और अन्य के लिए 30 लाख रुपये होगी।
• अभी तक महानगरों में 28 लाख और अन्य में 20 लाख तक के होम लोन प्राथमिकता क्षेत्र में आते हैं। उनकी कीमत क्रमशः 35 लाख और 25 लाख रुपये तक होनी चाहिए।

अमेरिका संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानवाधिकार परिषद से अलग हुआ:

• अमेरिका संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानवाधिकार परिषद (यूएनएचआरसी) से अलग हो गया है। अमेरिका ने परिषद को आडंबर बताते हुए आरोप लगाया कि वह इजराइल के साथ भेदभाव कर रही है।
• संयुक्त राष्ट्र में अमरीकी राजदूत निकी हेली ने राष्ट्रपति डोनल्ड ट्रम्प के शीर्ष राजनयिक और विदेश मंत्री माइक पोम्पियो के साथ वाशिंगटन में इस निर्णय की घोषणा की।
• इससे पहले मानवाधिकार परिषद के शीर्ष अधिकारियों ने मैक्सिको से अपने बच्चों से मिलने के लिये अमेरिका आना चाह रहे लोगों के प्रवेश पर रोक लगाने के अमेरिकी फैसले की आलोचना की थी।

कनाडा ने देशभर में मारिजुआना के आनंदप्रद उपयोग को वैध बनाया:

• कनाडा की सरकार ने हाल ही में एक ऐतिहासिक कानून पारित कर देश भर में मारिजुआना (गांजा) के आनंदप्रद उपयोग को वैध बनाया है। कैनबिस अधिनियम (बिल सी -45) ने 20 जून को सीनेट में 52-29 वोट में अपनी अंतिम बाधा पारित की।
• बिल यह नियंत्रित करता है कि गांजा कैसे उगाया जा सकता है, वितरित या बेचा जा सकता है। कनाडा के लोग सितम्बर 2018 से कानूनी रूप से इसे खरीदने और उपभोग करने में सक्षम होंगे।
• नया कानून वयस्कों को सार्वजनिक रूप से 30 ग्राम तक सूखा गांजा रखने की इजाजत देता है, लेकिन गांजा खरीदने और उपभोग करने की न्यूनतम कानूनी आयु 18 वर्ष होगी।
• यह अधिनियम कनाडा को पहला जी7 देश बनाता है जिसने ड्रग्स के आनंदप्रद उपयोग को वैध बनाया है। कनाडा राष्ट्रव्यापी रूप से मारिजुआना को कानूनी मान्यता देने वाला दुनिया का उरुग्वे के बाद दूसरा देश बन गया है।

गुजरात सरकार ने पवन-सौर हाइब्रिड पावर पॉलिसी-2018 की घोषणा की:

• गुजरात सरकार ने 20 जून 2018 को अपनी पवन और सौर ऊर्जा संबंधी मिश्रित नीति अर्थात विंड-साेलर हाइब्रिड पावर पॉलिसी 2018 की घोषणा की। इस प्रकार प्रदूषणमुक्त स्वच्छ बिजली उत्पादन की दिशा में गुजरात ने और एक ठोस कदम उठाया है।
• राज्य में एक ही स्थल से सौर और पवन ऊर्जा का एक साथ उत्पादन करने तथा इसके लिए प्रोत्साहक सहायता देने के लिए राज्य सरकार ने पांच वर्ष तक अमल में रहने वाली यह नीति लागू की है।
• इसके तहत वर्तमान सौर ऊर्जा परियोजना की जमीन में ही एक ट्रांसमिशन लाइन का उपयोग कर पवन ऊर्जा परियोजना भी स्थापित की जा सकेगी। ऐसे ही पवन ऊर्जा परियोजना के मामले में भी सौर ऊर्जा इकाई की स्थापना हो सकेगी।

सतत विकास के लिए जल 2018-28: ठोस कदम के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दशक पर सम्मेलन:

• ताजिकिस्तान के दुशांबे में ‘सतत विकास के लिए जल 2018-28: ठोस कदम के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दशक पर सम्मेलन’ आयोजित किया गया। भारत की ओर से इस सम्मेलन में केन्द्रीय जल संसाधन, नदी विकास एवं गंगा संरक्षण मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने भाग लिया।
• संयुक्त राष्ट्र के सदस्य देशों द्वारा अपनाए गए सतत विकास लक्ष्यों से संबंधित महत्वपूर्ण जल विषयों पर विचार-विमर्श करने के लिए इस सम्मेलन का आयोजन संयुक्त रूप से संयुक्त राष्ट्र और ताजिकिस्तान गणराज्य की सरकार द्वारा किया गया।
• सम्मेलन का उद्देश्य विश्व में एकीकृत तथा सतत जल संसाधन प्रबंधन पर राष्ट्रीय, क्षेत्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कार्रवाई को प्रोत्साहित करना है।
• बिल्कुल नए सोलर-विंड हाइब्रिड प्रोजेक्ट भी स्थापित किए जा सकेंगे। ऐसे हाइब्रिड पावर प्रोजेक्ट में पवन ऊर्जा और सौर ऊर्जा अलग मीटर से मापी जाएगी।

रिजर्व बैंक ने उदारीकृत धन प्रेषण योजना के तहत नियमों को कड़ा किया:

• भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने उदारीकृत धन प्रेषण योजना (Liberalized Remittance Scheme) के तहत नियमों को कड़ा किया है। इसके तहत अब देश से बाहर 25,000 डॉलर से भी कम के लेन-देन पर स्थायी खाता संख्या (PAN) का जिक्र करना अनिवार्य कर दिया गया है।
• योजना के तहत नाबालिग सहित किसी भी निवासी व्यक्ति को एक वित्त वर्ष में चालू खाता या पूंजी खाते या दोनों में किसी भी अनुमति प्राप्त लेनदेन के लिये 2,50,000 डॉलर बिना किसी रोक-टोक के भेजने की अनुमति है।
• इसके साथ ही नजदीकी संबंधी के रखरखाव के लिये एलआरएस के तहत धन प्रेषण के मामले में सरकार के साथ विचार विमर्श के जरिये यह तय किया गया है कि ‘संबंधी- रिश्तेदार’ की परिभाषा को कंपनी अधिनियम 1956 के बजाय नये कंपनी अधिनियम 2013 के अनुरूप शामिल किया जाये।’
• इससे पहले बैंकों ने एलआरएस के तहत व्यक्तिगत लेनदेन की दैनिक रिपोर्टिंग की व्यवस्था भी शुरू की है।

शिलांग (मेघालय) का चयन 100वीं स्मार्ट सिटी के रूप में किया गया:

• मेघालय की राजधानी शिलांग का चयन 100वीं स्मार्ट सिटी के रूप में किया गया है। शिलांग द्वारा प्रस्तुत किये गये प्रस्ताव के आकलन के बाद ही इस शहर का चयन किया गया है।
• इसके साथ ही स्मार्ट सिटी मिशन के तहत 100 स्मार्ट सिटी के चयन की प्रक्रिया पूरी हो गई है। इससे पहले जनवरी 2016 में 20 शहरों, मई 2016 में 13 शहरों, सितम्बर 2016 में 27 शहरों, जून 2017 में 30 शहरों और जनवरी 2018 में 9 शहरों का चयन किया गया था।
• शिलांग के चयन के साथ ही स्मार्ट सिटी मिशन के तहत अंतिम रूप से चयनित 100 स्मार्ट सिटी में कुल प्रस्तावित निवेश 2,05,018 करोड़ रुपये के स्तर पर पहुंच गया है।

Vishwas Mandalik from Nasik, Yoga Institute in Mumbai recipients of PM award

• Today the world is celebrating the 4th International Yoga Day and a major event is being held at Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehradun where the chief guest would be Prime Minister Narendra Modi. FRI came into being in 1878 as Imperial FRI and was rename as FRI in 1906.

  • Mandlik acquired in-depth knowledge of authentic Patanjali and Hatha Yoga, Bhagwad Gita and Upnishad by study and research of ancient scriptures over the last 55 years. In 1978, he set up first branch of Yoga Vidya Dham, which today has 160 centres in India. He set up Yoga Vidhya Gurukul in 1983 for yoga education. Yoga Chaitanya Seva Pratisthan, a trust, was set up by him in 1994 to propagate yoga in remote parts of India.
• Organisation Category: Yoga Institute, Mumbai
  • The Yoga Institute in Mumbai, set up in 1918 by Yogendraji, has completed 100 years producing more than 50,000 yoga teachers and has over 500 publications to its credit.
  • Award for 2017 as won by Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute, Pune.
• The winners will be felicitated with a trophy, certificate and a cash award each. The value of each cash award would be Rs 25 lakh. These awards were instituted on June 21, 2016.
• The theme for 2018 Yoga Day is Yoga for Peace. The Day was proclaimed by UNGA on 11 December 2014.

World’s first International Centre for Humanitarian Forensics launched in Gujarat

• The world’s first International Centre for Humanitarian Forensics (ICHF) was inaugurated at the Gujarat Forensics Science University (GFSU) campus on June 20, 2018.
• The ICHF has been set up in the light of need for better management of the killed bodies during natural and man-made disasters.
• The ICHF is a joint venture of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Regional Delegation for India, Bhutan, Nepal and the Maldives, and GFSU.

RBI revises upwards home loan limits under priority sector lending

• Housing loans of Rs 35 lakh in metropolitan areas (population 10 lakh and above) and Rs 25 lakh in other areas for dwellings costing less than Rs 45 lakh and Rs 30 lakh respectively will be treated as priority sector lending (PSL).
• The aim is give a filip to low-cost housing for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Low-Income Groups (LIG).
• Further, the existing family income limit of Rs 2 lakh per annum for loans to housing projects for EWS and LIG stands revised to Rs 3 lakh per annum and Rs 6 lakh per annum, respectively.
• This has been done in alignment with the income criteria specified under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), which was launched in 2015 with a target to build 20 million affordable houses by March 31, 2022.
• Currently, loans to individuals for up to Rs 28 lakh in metropolitan centres and Rs 20 lakh in other centres, can be classified under priority sector, provided that the cost of dwelling unit does not exceed Rs 35 lakh and Rs 25 lakh respectively.
• Priority sector was first properly defined in 1972, after the National Credit Council emphasized that there should be a larger involvement of the commercial banks in the priority sector. The sector was then defined by Dr. K S Krishnaswamy Committee.
• In 1974, the banks were given a target of 33.33 % as share of the priority sector in the total bank credit. On the basis of Dr. K S Krishnaswamy committee, the target was raised to 40%.

US quits UN Human Rights Council

• US envoy to UN Nikki Halley, calling UNHRC a ‘cesspool of bias’ and blaming for its anti-Israel stance, announced to pull out of UNHRC.
• It said that the dubious admission of DR Congo, Venezuela, Iran shows how miserably the bias is for countries with worst human rights abuse record.
• The decision comes a day after UN Commissioner of Human Right Zeid bin Ra’ad al-Hussein criticized the US Donald Trump for separating immigrated children from their parents along the US border.
• The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) is a United Nations body whose mission is to promote and protect human rights around the world. The UNHRC has 47 members elected for staggered three-year terms on a regional group basis. It was founded in 2006.

Canada legalises recreational use of marijuana nationwide

• Canada became the first G-7 (a group of seven richest nations of the world) country to legalise recreational use of marijuana nationwide. The Bill named C-45 or Cannabis Act was passed in the Canadian Senate by 52-29 margin.
• Main Provisions
  • It allows to carry and share 30 grams of marijuana in public
  • It allows households to plant 4 trees for edible and medicinal purposes.
  • It makes selling of marijuana to 18 years and below a crime.
• Canada is the second country in the world to legalise marijuana after Uruguay which did it in 2013. Also, 9 states plus District of Columbia of the United States (USA) have legalized marijuana for recreational purposes and 30 states have legalized it for medicinal purposes.

Gujarat govt announces Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Policy-2018

• The Vijay Rupani-led Gujarat government has announced wind-solar hybrid power policy - 2018, aiming to make optimum utilisation of the land and grid.
• Main Highlights
  • The policy, which will have a coverage period of five years, provides encouragement to renewable power producers supplying to the grid as well as to those having captive use.
  • The developer of an existing solar project will now be able to use the same land for setting up wind and solar power units. Also, it will allow them to use the common transmission line to evacuate the power.
  • The benefits of the new policy will be applicable for a period of 25 years or lifetime, whichever is earlier.
  • The policy provides 50 per cent concession for cross-subsidy surcharge and additional surcharge when the generated energy is sold to a third party.
  • For the captive users, the hybrid projects will have complete waiver on cross-subsidy surcharge and additional surcharge. Also, it will qualify for 50 per cent relaxation in wheeling charges and distribution loss.
• Gujarat currently generates over 5,500 MW of wind power and 1,600 MW of solar power.

RBI tightens norms for Liberalised Remittance Scheme

• The RBI tightened norms for Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS) by making quoting of permanent account number (PAN) mandatory even for transactions below $25,000.
• Further, in the context of remittances allowed under LRS for maintenance of close relatives, it has been decided, in consultation with government, to align the definition of ‘relative’ with the definition given in Companies Act, 2013 instead of Companies Act, 1956.
• The window that was opened up in 2004 for individuals to remit money across the border, without seeking specific approvals, was called the Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS).
• Under the LRS, all resident individuals, including minors, are allowed to freely remit up to $2,50,000 per financial year for any permissible current or capital account transaction or a combination of both.
• Individuals can avail of foreign exchange facility for the purposes within the limit of $2,50,000 only.

Shillong gets selected as the 100th Smart City

• Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya has been selected as 100th Smart City under the Smart Cities Mission (launched in 2015) after evaluating the proposal submitted by it.
• Previously, 20 cities were selected in January 2016, 13 cities in May 2016, 27 cities in September 2016, 30 cities in June 2017 and 9 cities in January 2018.
• With the selection of Shillong, the total proposed investment in the finally selected 100 cities under the Smart Cities Mission would be Rs.2,05,018 crores.
• Smart city is that city which incorporates information and communication technologies (ICT) to enhance the quality and performance of urban services such as energy, transportation and utilities in order to reduce resource consumption, wastage and overall costs.

Conference on International Decade for Action: Water for Sustainable Development 2018-28

• The Conference was held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. India was represented by Union Minister for Road Transport and Water Resources Nitin Gadkari.
• The topic chosen for the Conference was “Promoting Action and Policy Dialogue on Water for Sustainable Development”.
• In order to accelerate efforts towards meeting water-related challenges, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) at its 72nd Session declared 2018-2028 as the “International Decade for Action: Water for Sustainable Development”.
• The Water Action Decade will commence on World Water Day, 22 March 2018, and will end on World Water Day, 22 March 2028.
• The objectives of the Decade focus on the sustainable development and integrated management of water resources for the achievement of social, economic and environmental objectives.
• The International Decade for Action will build upon “Water for Life” Decade 2005-2015.
• India’s programmes towards water management
  • National Project On Aquifer Management (NAQUIM): to completely map 2 million sq. km. of the map-able area of the country.
  • National Water Information Centre (NWIC): is a modern platform for assessment of surface water and ground water, flood forecasting, reservoir monitoring, coastal information management system and river basin management. 
  • Namami Gange: For Rejuvenation of the River Ganga.
  • Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojna-PMKSY (Prime Ministers Irrigation Project): The two prime objectives are: ‘Har Khet ko Pani’ and ‘More Crop per Drop’. Besides, under it government seeks to complete 99 large irrigation projects till December, 2019 and thereby create additional irrigation potential of 7.62 million hectares.
  • National Rural Drinking Water Programme (NRDWP): By 2030 affordable drinking water for All.
  • Swachh Bharat Mission: Make rural areas Open Defecation Free.

गुजरातमध्ये जगातले पहिले आंतरराष्ट्रीय मानवतावादी न्यायवैद्यक केंद्र

• गुजरातमधील गांधीनगर येथे जगातले पहिले आंतरराष्ट्रीय मानवतावादी न्यायवैद्यक केंद्र (International Centre for Humanitarian Forensics) सुरू करण्यात आले आहे.

• स्मार्ट शहरे अभियान हा भारत सरकारच्या केंद्रीय शहरी विकास मंत्रालयाचा 2015 साली सुरू करण्यात आलेला एक महत्वाकांक्षी प्रकल्प आहे. या उपक्रमामधून देशात 100 स्मार्ट शहरे तयार केली जाणार आहेत. संपूर्ण देशात एकूण 90 शहरांना स्मार्ट शहरांसाठी निवडलेले आहे. रांची हे देशातले प्रथम हरित क्षेत्र स्मार्ट शहर असणार.

संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघ मानवाधिकार परिषदेतून बाहेर पडण्याची अमेरिकेची घोषणा

• अमेरिकेने संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघ मानवाधिकार परिषदेतून बाहेर पडण्याची घोषणा केली आहे. परिषदेवर इस्रायलविरोधी असल्याचा आरोप करत अमेरिकेने हा निर्णय घेतला.
• 2006 साली स्थापित 47 सदस्यीय संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघ मानवाधिकार परिषद (UNHRC) ही जगभरातील मानवाधिकारांचे रक्षण करण्याकरिता आणि त्यांच्या प्रसारासंबंधित बाबींसाठी कार्य करणारी संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघाच्या यंत्रणेमधील सर्वोच्च आंतरसरकारी संस्था आहे. याचे मुख्यालय स्वीत्झर्लंडच्या जिनेव्हा येथे आहे.  

कॅनडात मारिजुआनाच्या मनोरंजक वापराला मान्यता

• कॅनडाच्या संसदेनी देशभरात मारिजुआनाच्या म्हणजेच गांजाच्या मनोरंजक वापराला मान्यता दिली आहे. नागरिकांना गांजाची खरेदी आणि वापर करता येणारा G7 देशांतला कॅनडा हा पहिलाच देश आहे.
• ‘कॅनाबिस अॅक्ट’ हे विधेयक संसदेत मंजूर करण्यात आले आहे. गांजाची लागवड, त्याचं वितरण आणि विक्री याचं नियमन आणि नियंत्रण करण्यासाठी हा कायदा तयार करण्यात आला आहे. पूर्वी गांजा बाळगणे 1923 साली कॅनडात गुन्हा ठरवण्यात आला आणि 2001 साली त्याच्या वैद्यकीय वापरास कायदेशीर मान्यता देण्यात आली.

कॉन्फरन्स इंटरनॅशनल डिकेड फॉर अॅक्शन: वॉटर फॉर सस्टेनेबल डेव्हलपमेंट 2018-28

• दुशान्बे, ताजिकिस्तान येथे 20 जून 2018 रोजी ‘कॉन्फरन्स इंटरनॅशनल डिकेड फॉर अॅक्शन: वॉटर फॉर सस्टेनेबल डेव्हलपमेंट 2018-28’ या कार्यक्रमाच शुभारंभ करण्यात आला.
• "प्रोमोटिंग अॅक्शन अँड पॉलिसी डायलॉग ऑन वॉटर फॉर सस्टेनबल डेव्हलपमेंट" या विषयाखाली ही परिषद भरविण्यात आली. या परिषदेत भारताच्यावतीने केंद्रीय जलसंपदा मंत्री नितीन गडकरी हे उपस्थित होते.  

अर्थव्यवस्था आणि बँकिंग

RBI ने प्राधान्य क्षेत्रातील कर्जासाठी गृहकर्ज मर्यादा वाढविली

• भारतीय रिझर्व्ह बँकेनी (RBI) प्राधान्य क्षेत्रातील कर्ज (PSL) म्हणून गृह कर्जाची मर्यादा वाढविलेली आहे, ज्यामधून महानगरात 45 लक्ष रुपयांपेक्षा कमी किंमतीच्या घरांसाठी 35 लक्ष रुपयांपर्यंतचे तर अन्य भागात 30 लक्ष रुपयांपेक्षा कमी किंमतीच्या घरांसाठी 25 लक्ष रुपयांपर्यंतचे गृह कर्ज दिले जाईल.
• PSL कर्ज बाजारातील उपलब्ध व्याज दरापेक्षा तुलनेने स्वस्त आहे. यामधून आर्थिकदृष्ट्या कमकुवत वर्ग (वार्षिक उत्पन्न रू. 2 लक्ष) आणि कमी उत्पन्न असलेल्या (वार्षिक उत्पन्न रू. 6 लक्ष) गटासाठी कमी किंमतीच्या घरांसाठी कर्ज उपलब्ध होऊ शकणार. सध्या ही मर्यादा महानगरांमध्ये 28 लक्ष रुपये आणि अन्य भागांमध्ये 20 लक्ष रुपयांपर्यंत आहे. 

RBI च्या लिबरलाइज्ड रेमिटन्स स्कीम (LRS) मधील मानदंड अधिक कडक

• भारतीय रिझर्व्ह बँकेच्या (RBI) च्या नव्या मानदंडांनुसार, लिबरलाइज्ड रेमिटन्स स्कीम (LRS) अंतर्गत USD 25,000 हून कमीच्या व्यवहारांसाठी कायम खाते संख्या (PAN) सादर करणे अनिवार्य झाले आहे.
• LSR अंतर्गत, अल्पवयीन सहित सर्व निवासी व्यक्तींना कोणत्याही परवानगी असलेल्या चालू किंवा भांडवली खात्यात व्यवहार किंवा दोन्हीच्या संयोगासाठी दर वित्त वर्षाला USD 2,50,000 पर्यंत मुक्त रूपाने प्रेषित करण्याची परवानगी आहे.

राज्य

गुजरात राज्य शासनाचे ‘पवन-सौर संकरित वीज धोरण-2018’ घोषित

• भूमी आणि प्रेषण पायाभूत सुविधांचा कमीतकमी उपयोग सुनिश्चित करण्यासाठी, गुजरात राज्य शासनाने ‘पवन-सौर संकरित वीज धोरण-2018’ याची घोषणा केली आहे.
• एकाच ठिकाणी पवन व सौर उर्जा प्रकल्प उभारण्यासाठी प्रोत्साहन देण्याच्या उद्देशाने हे धोरण तयार करण्यात आले आहे. हे धोरण राज्यात पाच वर्षांकरिता लागू राहणार आहे. या धोरणाअंतर्गत विकसक सौर प्रकल्पासाठी सध्या वापरात असलेल्या भूमीचा पवन ऊर्जा निर्मितीसाठी वापर करू शकतील. नवीन विकसक पवन-सौर संकरीत प्रकल्पाची क्षमता ठरवू शकतात.
• सध्या, गुजरात अंदाजे 7,100 मेगावॅट (MW) अक्षय ऊर्जा वीजनिर्मिती करते, त्यात 5,500 MW पवन ऊर्जा आणि 1,600 MW सौर ऊर्जेचा वाटा आहे.

पुरस्कार

नाशिकचे योगतज्ज्ञ विश्वास मंडलिक यांना यावर्षीचा पंतप्रधान पुरस्कार

• 21 जून रोजी आंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिनाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर नाशिकचे योगतज्ज्ञ विश्वास मंडलिक व मुंबईतील योग इन्स्टिट्यूट या संस्थेला या वर्षाचे पंतप्रधान पुरस्कार दिले गेले आहेत. हे पुरस्कार योगविद्येचा प्रसार व विकासासात भरीव कामगिरीबाबत त्यांना दिले गेले.
• विश्वास मंडलिक हे योग धाम विद्या (1978 साली), योग विद्या गुरुकुल (1983 साली) या संस्थांचे संस्थापक आहेत. योगविद्येवर त्यांनी 42 पुस्तके लिहिली आहेत. मुंबईतील योग इन्स्टिट्युट ही 1918 साली योगेंद्रजी यांनी स्थापन केली.
• विविध क्षेत्रात लोककल्याणकारी उपक्रमांमध्ये मोलाचे योगदान देणार्‍या आणि आदर्श तयार करणार्‍या व्यक्तीला वा संस्थेला पंतप्रधान पुरस्कार दिला जातो. मानचिन्ह, मानपत्र व प्रत्येकी 25 लक्ष रुपये रोख असे या पुरस्काराचे स्वरुप आहे.
