२) खेकडा आणि समुद्राची मैत्री 

(Crab& Sea's Friendship)

एकदा एक खेकडा समुद्र किनाऱ्यावर खेळत होता. त्याच्या तीरप्या चालीने वाळूवर काही रेखाटत होता. समुद्राच्या लाटा किनाऱ्याला धडकत होत्या आणि त्याने मागे सोडलेले त्याचे पदचिन्ह पुसत होत्या.
त्या खेकड्याने त्या लाटांना विचारले, "आपण तर मित्र आहोत मग सांग बरे तु असे का केले ? मी मेहनतीने इतकी सुंदर नकाशी केली तु मात्र क्षणात येवून ती पुसली! " हे ऐकून लाट काहीशी मागे सरकली मग क्षणभर थांबून त्याला उत्तरली तु मेहनतीने सुंदर नकाशी काढली. मी मात्र ती क्षणात निर्दयीपणे पुसली कारण या किनार्यावर एक कोळी फिरत आहे काही सावज मिळते का हे शोधत आहे. जर त्याला तुझ्या पायाचे चिन्ह दिसले असते तर त्याने तुला सहज शोधले असते. खरचं माला तुला दुखवायचे नव्हते रे, मला तुला कायमचे गमवायचे हि नव्हते. हे ऐकून त्याला त्याची चूक उमगली क्षणाचाही वेळ न दडवता त्याने लाटेची माफी मागीतली.
यालाचं कदाचित खरी मैत्री म्हणातात.
सारे जिवलग मित्र एकमेकांवर असेचं प्रेम करतात.

Once a crab was playing on the shore of the sea. Curvy lines on the sand was drawn by his walk. The waves of the sea were coming ashore, and remove the trail left behind.

This is true friendship.
