मानुषी छिल्लर (जन्म: 14 मई 1997) एक भारतीय मॉडल व सौन्दर्य प्रतियोगिता शीर्षक धारक हैं जिन्हे विश्व सुन्दरी 2017 के ताज से नवाजा गया हैं।[1] इससे पहले २५ जून २०१७ को उन्हें फेमिना मिस इंडिया से भी नवाजा गया था।[2] उन्होंने हरियाणा राज्य को मिस इंडिया हरियाणा के रूप में प्रस्तुतु किया और दिल्ली व दुसरे २९ प्रतियोगियों के साथ प्रतियोगिता में हिस्सा लिया।[3] वह नवम्बर २०१७ में चाइना में होने वाली "मिस वर्ल्ड २०१७" की प्रतियोगिता में भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व करेंगी। छिल्लर बहुत ही कम मिस इंडिया विजेताओं में से हैं जों कि एक मेडिकल छात्र हैं, जैसे "१९९६- तीसरी रनर अप रीता फ़रिया", "मिस वर्ल्ड १९६६ कल्पना पंडित"। वह १९६६ में पहली बार "मिस वर्ल्ड २०१७" का खिताब जीतने वाली पहली भारतीय और एशियाई को अपना आदर्श मानती हैं।[4] फेमिना मिस इंडिया २०१७ के फाइनल में अंतिम सवाल ये पूछा गया था कि "उनके द्वारा ३० प्रतिभागियों के साथ एक महीने बिताने के बाद जो सबक वापस लेकर जाएंगे" इसके जवाब में उन्होंने कहा "इस यात्रा के दौरान मेरा एक सपना था, जिसके साथ एक विश्वास आया कि मई दुनिया बदल सकती हूँ।[5]
व्यक्तिगत जीवन[संपादित करें]
डॉक्टर माता-पिता के घर जन्मी मनुषी खुद भी एक मेडिकल छात्र हैं। उनके पिता डॉ.मित्र बासु छिल्लर चिकित्सा में एमडी हैं, व माता डॉ.नीलम छिल्लर जैवरसायन में एमडी है।[6] उनकी स्कूली शिक्षा सेंटथॉमस स्कूल, दिल्ली से हुई हैं व साथ ही एमबीबीएस की डिग्री वह हरियाणा के भगत फूल सिंह गवर्नमेंट मेडिकल कॉलेज से कर रही हैं।[7] वह एक प्रशिक्षित कुचिपुड़ी नृत्यक हैं जिन्होंने महान नर्तकियों राजा और राधा रेड्डी और कौशल्या रेड्डी के तहत प्रशिक्षण लिया हैं। वह नेशनल स्कूल ऑफ़ ड्रामा का भी हिस्सा रही हैं।[8]
पेजन्ट्री[संपादित करें]
25 जून 2017 को, छिल्लर ने फेमिना मिस इंडिया 2017 प्रतियोगिता में हिस्सा लिया, जो हरियाणा राज्य का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है। प्रतियोगिता के दौरान, छिमार को मिस फोटोजेनिक का ताज पहनाया गया, और मिस वर्ल्ड 2017 प्रतियोगिता में भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व करने का अधिकार प्राप्त करने के साथ-साथ प्रतियोगिता भी हासिल हुई।
मिस वर्ल्ड 2017 में, छिल्लर शीर्ष मॉडल, पीपुल्स चॉइस, और मल्टीमीडिया प्रतियोगिताओं में सेमीफाइनल बने, जबकि वह एक पर्पल प्रतियोगिता के साथ सौंदर्य प्रतियोगिता के सह-विजेता थे। चिलार की सुंदरता एक उद्देश्य परियोजना थी परियोजना शक्ति अभियान का लक्ष्य मासिक धर्म की स्वच्छता के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाना है। उन्होंने परियोजना के लिए लगभग 20 गांवों का दौरा किया और 5,000 से अधिक महिलाएं का उपचार किया। 18 नवंबर 2017 को छिल्लर को मिस वर्ल्ड 2017 का पुरस्कार दिया गया था, जो आउटगोइंग शीर्षक धारक स्टेफ़नी डेल वाले ने किया था। वह मुकुट जीतने वाली छठे भारतीय महिला बन गईं और पहली बार प्रियंका चोपड़ा ने मिस वर्ल्ड 2000 जीता।
प्रोजेक्ट शक्ति[संपादित करें]
मिस वर्ल्ड २०१७ के लिए उन्होंने "प्रोजेक्ट शक्ति" के साथ एक मासिक पहल की हैं जिसके माध्यम से वह मासिक धर्म की स्वच्छता के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाना चाहती हैं।[9]

Manushi Chhillar Miss World 2017: It’s a proud moment for Indian! In a big achievement, India’s Manushi Chhillar has won the Miss World 2017 contest. This is a big feat as India has bagged the coveted title of Miss World after a long gap of 17 years.
India’s Manushi Chillar competed against 108 contestants from various countries at a glittering event held at Sanya City Arena in China. Miss World 2016 winner Puerto Rico’s Stephanie Del Valle gave away the coveted crown to the winner. Chillar, who is from Haryana, had earlier this year won the Femina Miss India 2017.
Miss Mexico Andrea Meza was announced the first runner up, while Miss England Stephanie Hill was declared the second runner up at an event held at Sanya City Area

The other winners of the title are contestants from South Africa, Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines. The model from Haryana was inching closer to the Miss World crown as she has gone straight from top 40 to 15. As many as 108 beauty queens from different parts of the world were participating in the prestigious beauty pageant.
– In question and answer round post getting the top five spot, Manushi was asked: “Which profession deserves the highest salary and why?” She replied: “I think a mother is of the highest respect. I don’t think its just about cash but love and respect she gives to someone. She is the biggest inspiration in my life. Mother should get highest respect.
